Brilliant position on Princes Street; we had views of Old Town and Arthur's Seat from our room. Room had large LED TV with all Freeview channels, hair dryer, iron with board, tea and coffee with shortbread fingers, very comfy beds, heated large towel rail in bathroom, toiletries. Breakfast was included with full hot option and lovely fresh croissants. Very Good value at £124. I highly recommend this hotel.

Begging for a refresh. This hotel is "fine", the location is superb. I found that the staff were friendly but the lack of a real usable lift from the first floor is ridiculous. Also they should invest in a key card system instead of the old lock and key they have now, it freaks me out. Overall the place is kind of a dump but it's a bed in a good neighborhood close to the train station. This place needs a complete overhaul. Uncomfortable, unkept, and fairly dirty. I would recommend spending more to stay at a nicer place in town.

We stayed here for only 2nights July 16 &17-11. Lousy hotel, unsafe & scary. The 2nd day of my stay was someone got into my room and stole my cash money and jewelries. I've cought him on the act but because i was shocked and I was shaking because when i opened my room someone inside behind the door i tought i got the wrong room then when i noticed that's was my room he just passed infront of me and stared at me then he is gone. I've called my husband, he was waiting for me in the reception i informed him that someone robbed our room and he should stop everyone to let go but he never seen anyone. What i known this is "inside job" so be careful guys in this hotel staff are rude and very bad service. This is the only hotel that everytime you go out u have to deposit your key to the reception so i am wondering that my door never broken, and how did he manage to come inside and in just 30 mins we left our room.
