Stayed one night. Very clean site and helpful owner. A little pricey if I'm being picky.

We stayed for a week in August and were given a large pitch near the play area. We arrived late, but they left a map and gate card out for us, so we could let ourselves in. The park was busy at the weekend, but much quieter during the week. We where very impressed with how clean the toilets and showers were kept even at the busy times. Pauline in the cafe was great and her breakfasts were fantastic and Jan in the office was very helpful, pointing us to some off road cycle paths that were safe for us all to use. We had a great time and will be back again.

Clean and functional facilities, well kept stands, more than enough space per stand, play area and huge lawn area for playing ballgames. We really enjoyed our bank holiday weekend at Honeybridge. The staff at reception were great and for the price, I think you will not find better in Sussex for a weekend breakaway (or longer!). The little "Honey Pot" shop had most of the essentials and for any more you could always drive to the Co-op in Ashington (5mins away). Seems some of the other reviews I've seen on this site is directed at certain individuals and not the campsite...

A very nice location & site, but oh dear, the staff could do better. The reception area should always give a good first impression & a professional approach, but I walked into an argument between staff & a customer who obviously had a problem. Just couldn't believe how embarassing this must have been for those concerned. Any serious discussions should, surely take place in a separate room & there was another room. There were also maintenance/ground staff languishing behind the reception counter, baseball caps, overalls etc - obviously not enough work to do, even so, isn't there a staff room where they can languish?! Next to the reception area is a dark, dingy & uninviting room claiming to be the games room. There's supposed to be a shop/cafe with signs to the effect but it's closed, or more to the point, closed down!
