One word that would some up our experience with Simon - Magnificent! We chose Simon to take our wedding photos after he was recommended to us. One our first meeting Simon took the time to explain who he was and the type of photography that he is capable of - and he is VERY capable! We felt at ease with him immediately and found that after our 20 minute meeting with him we could fully trusted him to take the best possible photos to show just how special our wedding would be to the 2 of us. A few weeks before the big day, my wife and I went with Simon to the wedding venue to establish the areas to take photos on the day and came up with backup plans should there have been any bad weather on the day. On the big day Simon turned up about Mid-morning and didn't put his camera down until well into the evening!!! I, along with every other person who attended the wedding commented on how impressed they were with Simon professional yet friendly attitude. I think most people used the word amazing at least once when they described him! Our photos were amazing and we would like to thank Simon ever so much for ensuring that our photo album is one to be proud of! To sum up, there are cheaper and more expensive photographers out there but you will not find someone who is as enthusiastic and who has such a friendly and outgoing personality, he really did make our day!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Pete & Claire Stone

As a photographer myself it was never going to be an easy task finding a photographer, to not only be able to take the photos that I wanted but also to be brave enough to take me on. It concerned me that most photographers attending wedding fairs and advertising had few qualifications and very little technical knowledge on some occasions. The photos were my third priority after the choice of the church and reception venue and after doing some research found Simon. What a relief, a photographer that not only understands composition and lighting but is an all round lovely man. Most of the guests actually commented on what a nice, easy photographer I had chosen and complimented him on his personable style. He settled in for the day blending in almost as a guest, the list of photos I supplied him with were completed without disturbing my guests for very long or taking us away from them. He made the most of our lovely venue on the GWSR steam train at Winchcombe and managed to get photos of even the most camera shy. It may not suit some but it certainly works out cheaper and easier to manage your own account on photobox for copies or albums etc. I would and have, no problem in highly recommending Simon.

When looking for a photographer we wanted someone who we knew we would feel at ease with, in our opinion theres nothing worse then having a bossy stern photographer in your face the whole day. We found Simon through the internet and went to meet him, we instantly liked his warm, professional yet fun personality. Simon and his wife were very welcoming and made us feel at home throughout the whole process. The day came and Simon knew exactly what we wanted, where we wanted, and how we wanted the photos to be shot and throughout the whole day had all our guests laughing... which made for great photos. I can truly say the reason the photos were so excellent is because we could relax around Simon. The photos upon collection were amazing, I am so happy with the way our big day was captured and the emotion and joy can be clearly seen in all the photos.... Thank you simon for a great set of photos and for being such a friendly face... you wont be forgotten. - Jenna and Tom 23/06/2012

During our wedding preparations we realised there were two important things (apart from the obvious) we needed to get right. The band and the photographer. Whilst the former gives you the immediate thrills on the day, the latter captures all those memories so you can remember them long into married life. In Simon we could not have picked a better photographer for this task, he not only captured the essence of our day, he did so with such enthusiasm that it rubbed off on to all of our guests. The great thing about Simon is that he really gets to know you as a couple which not only put our nerves to rest but also meant that he knew exactly what kind of shots to capture on the day. This attention does not only last for the day of the wedding, he is also extremely professional and attentive when it comes to going through the photos afterwards and making sure they look as great as possible. Whether that is from the way he treats each individual photo like it is as important as the last or the fact he provides you with a glass or amazing Red wine and the most delightful homemade cookies (A Thank you must go to his wife there i think!). My wife and I would happily and enthusiastically recommend him to not only our friends but anyone else we don't know who is looking for someone to capture the happiest day of their life! Thank you so much Simon for all of your hard work, it all paid off with the lovely album we now have!

As a fellow photographer how could I help but choose Simon as the photographer from my son's wedding. He did the perfect job that I expected, covered everything our son and his wife wanted - including a lot of impromptu moments. He covered the wonderful setting of the Bodliean library perfectly. Highly recommended.
