EUROPA HOTEL, 20 Derby Rd, Long Eaton, Nottingham

Stayed May 2010 filthy place, sticky carpets, also operates as Chinese restaurant & takeaway. Rooms 6 & 8 are above kitchen, noise and smell unbearable till late at night. Breakfast very poor quality, small portion and not cooked, including a refrigerated grilled tomato!, and UHT milk for cereal staff claim not to speak English! No front of house reception, Fire alarm has had a fault for 3 months and last service of the system was 2006 Skipped the 2nd night we were booked in for, one of our party stayed here 3 months ago saying it was fair with good breakfast restaurant etc complete change of staff and the condition has nose dived Bathroom in poor condition no curtains at window, shower in full view of street and car park the whole place is very rundown. A place to give a wide berth

Stayed at the europa hotel for a week on business in long eaton. the hotel is nice and tidy, with lovely breakfast and restraunt for even meals. the room was of a nice standard and fel homely. Also another great advantage of this hotel is its location. its central so you can take a walk to the shops and other food/drink places. The owners are very friendly and really make you feel at home with their personnel approach. would definitely stay here again. and forgot to mention it was really good on prices...thanks europa hotel.
