Bickleigh Mill

This is a little gem within Bickleigh that my partner & I wanted to try & when we did we were blown away with the quality of the food. When we have been on our own or with family/friend's, we've found that the best food is in the evenings. There is a specials menu with a variety of foods on offer each day. The shop is really lovely too, just watch out for the delicious looking chocolates. We're yet to try any of their chocolate, but our temptations with cave soon I'm sure.

Good food; ordering a bit chaotic but worth the wait.

We had a delicious lunch here, and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The shop is an Aladdin's cave of goodies - well worth a visit! Unlike another reviewer we found the coffee to be lovely, with the beans freshly ground for my latte.

I live very near Bickleigh Mill so have been there many times over the years. It's certainly well worth stopping and having a ramble through the place. Lots of interesting things for just about every room in the house, and a top attic dedicated to children's toys with things for all ages and all types. Although it's something of a 'things' shop I often find myself buying stuff, which is not something I can say for just about every other 'things' shop I can think of. I hear the food is good as well, though I've never actually eaten there. I only ever get as a far as the coffee, which every time I get the courage up to try it again is reliably awful - I mean really, really bad, the kind of stuff that you just can't finish if you've got even an ounce of foodie in you. I'd like to try the food, I really would, but if they can't even get a cup of coffee right ...
