STARDUST WHAT THE PAPERS SAY If ever there was an award winning production-THIS IS IT! It's got every ingredient for a memorable night with powerhouse vocalists, zany comedy, quirky sketches & sassy dancing. This is a fantastic production with the most hilarious comedy that I have seen in a show for a long time. Stardust is a treat for all ages & shouldn't be missed! Danny Posthill's quick wit was brilliant – non-stop laughs all the way. Ben Nickless is a class act & had the audience in fits with his comical antics & impressions. Holly Cosgrove has developed into a brilliant vocalist & a joy to see. Elmer & Sampson are very versatile and complete a great line-up. X Factor vocalist Eloise Cole has talent by the bucket load. Eloise & Holly would look at home on a West End stage. The four vocalists produced pitch perfect harmonies. Danze Fantazy were full of energy & panache, the choreography was polished leaving one breathless, and the costumes were impressive. The talented children worked well in the Olympics number & the Matilda medley, bringing the show bang up to date. The show really does have everything for everyone and braves new waters in terms of production values. In a word-BRILLIANT! WHAT THE PAPERS SAY Laughter Makers at the Top of their Game The Laughter Party is a glamorous mix of song, dance, laughter and illusions in a fast-moving lavishly costumed production. There is some fantastic entertainment by both established and emerging new talent this year at the Babbacombe theatre. Irrepressible comedian Andy Oakley is a hit, with his quick quips & hilarious stories he keeps the show cracking along at a slick pace. Oakley combines comedy with a fine voice to match his wit. Welsh Comedian Gary Richard has a big personality and an impressive voice. Ruby Washington launched into the best opening number I've seen for sometime & continued to impress throughout. Multi-talented illusionist & comedy vocalist Johnny Edwards adds to the fun with his energy. All round entertainer Lisa Walker is a strong addition to the team. Louis Nayler is a newcomer with an exciting future who proved to be big on voice & dazzling on dance moves. Louis is an emerging talent with a phenomenal voice. The ambitious choreography is matched by the skills of Danze Fantazy, six glamorous girls who deliver inventive & energetic routines. Kidz Aloud, a team of five youngsters, all budding professionals, display innate confidence in three lively musical numbers.
