Overpraised restaurant indeed. The atmosphere is not bad, but they should really think about renewing the prices in the menu.

The food is average, I wouldn't say it's completely tasteless but it's nothing special. However it's too expensive for me.

Over priced and tasteless food - pitta with what tasted like pureed canned tomatoes; soggy tasteless whitebait; overcooked fish in thick soggy batter, and wrong item sent. lovely building... staff need training particularly in customer service. Not impressed

We love this restaurant for the delicious (and regularly changing menu), relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and not-too-extortionate prices. However, for at least the last 3 times we have visited (the most recent being last night), the service was appalling. The majority of the waiters/waitresses were friendly and polite, but the time taken to bring us our order was ridiculous. We waited around 15 minutes alone for our drinks, we had to remind them that we'd ordered a starter (in the end it came with our main course), and one of the main orders we'd made didn't turn up (although they did knock the price off for it, it wasn't brought to us until we'd finished our entire meal), and we had to remind them about the desserts, too. Even upon reminding the waitresses of our order, one spoke to us rather curtly, and the other simply ignored us after we'd asked. We spent quite a lot of money there last night, so I do not expect to have been waiting so long for good and prompt service. As I said, this is not the first time it has happened. Although I understand that the restaurant can get extremely busy, I do not think it is acceptable that we waited for our food for as long as we did - and had to ask repeatedly for most of it just to arrive. This lack of communication and organisation seriously needs to get sorted out, because it made our dining experience rather stressful - and next time we will definitely complain. P.S: One of our party thought the amount of wine you get is extremely small (along with a smaller than average glass) - especially for the price you're paying!
