Was told not to come back after giving me a refund for a faulty product! Awful bunch of people! Also the car park is so so tiny if the car park is full you cant turn around and you are forced to reverse onto a main road! which is an illegal maneuver! Rude ARROGANT and CHILDISH doesn't even come close, they are a 121 INSULT They also told me that APPLE were only good if you like a crumble and i should stick to PC's,

How refreshing to find a local family business who go the extra mile. I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed I told them I'd be jumping on my good as new laptop as soon as I got home to sing their praises. I'd been to PC World in BSE with the same issue and been told simply to 'save yourself the trouble and buy a new one.' I decided to get a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. Rather than spend £400 on a new laptop I paid a fraction of that and it's running as good as when i bought it a couple of years back. They replaced the hard drive and put on a new anti-virus. Being a bit of a technophobe I was wary of a change from Norton (always used it) but they took the time to talk me through how Bullguard works when I'm sure they had better things to do but went that extra mile. I've only scanned once but it was easy to do and i didnt notice the machine crawling like it used to and i was able to surf the net without interruption. More than anything though it was the smiley friendly nature of the staff there that was a breath of fresh air. Mary (I think that was her name) clearly knew her stuff but explained everything in laymans terms and with a smile on her face! The young man who was walking the shop floor was chatty but not overbearing and it turned out they have 3 generations of the family working there including a 90yr old gran part time.. i dont know if it was her who replaced the hard drive but whoever did then good job! LIke I say I'm not an online reviewer, I think this is the first I've ever done but such was the welcome and easy experience I wanted to flag this place up to anyone else in the Diss area. They may not be as big as PC World but they're far more helpful and saved me a small fortune along the way. Thankyou 121 when I do eventually need a new laptop you'll be where I come for one!

Today I collected my Sony laptop from 121 after a wireless adapter problem. I have been using computers for 15 years but could not sort the problem myself. 121 had it fixed in 24 hours and also sorted a glitch in Outlook. They called me when it was ready and stayed open until 6.00 pm so that I could collect it. Not bad for £29. Mr Edwards ( comments below) seems to have an axe to grind with regard to 121. As a professional so called IT man working in Asia you think he might have better contacts in the industry than have to shop for his hardware in Diss. As for complaining about parking, maybe its time he got a life !! R Kelly.

While visiting family in Diss I took my daughter to 121 to purchase an SSD hard disk and a graphics tablet and to look at replacing both our laptops. I paraphrase but the reply from the old lady behind the desk was “Oh Zer we don’t have anything fancy like that. If such things exist you need to go to the big city.” Looking around I should not have been surprised. Low end and overpriced state of the Ark technology. If you don’t believe me just Google a few products. As for laptops both my 3 year old Alien and my daughters 3 year old Dell Precision were still way beyond anything 121 were supplying. As I said state of the Ark! The next day a family member asked me to look at his laptop as several features in Windows had stopped working. 121 had told him he had installed Windows incorrectly and it would need a format and full install of the operating system. Frankly any junior I.T. Technician would spot the problem immediately. Windows had not been activated. It simply needed the key from the Windows sticker on the bottom of the machine inputting and all was fine. Finally, 121s website says they have a “landmark building” by this they mean little or no parking and their few bays were so small they could not even accommodate my hatchback. So if you: 1. Like to revers blind, because of 121 street advertising” onto Victoria Road this is the place for you. 2. If you want old, low end overpriced technology, this is the place for you. 3. If you want technicians with either low ability or are willing to charge you for unnecessary work, this is the place for you. For those with internet connection I recommend using Google and save yourself time and money Before anyone thinks this is sour grapes let me say as a qualified I.T. professional with my own business and consultancy in Asia and I feel it is companies like 121 that give computing a bad name. NB. Half the previous users are too shy to leave a name… Is this a scam? You decide.

These people know what customer service is about. They are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They do answer the phone and their prices are fair. I have been a customer for about eight years and visit regularly. I have seen their business grow and this success has created the one real issue for me - which is one of parking. If only all businesses were this good to deal with!
